Scotty's Spectrum Analyzer

All resistors, capacitors, inductors, integrated circuits, connectors & mating components with pins (except RF), front panel switches and semi-rigid coax necessary to build a Scotty's Spectrum Analyzer with Tracking Generator and Vector Network Analyzer options for SLIM board sets. More than 750 parts, see Bill of Materials. PCB boards, power supply, Mini-Circuits parts, wire and enclosure are not included. The parts are kitted with each part type labeled.

A minimum of 25 kits are required for the group buy pricing to apply. The closing date will be 28 March 2010, the projected ship date will be approximately 10 days to two weeks after (about 11 April 2010). The final price includes PayPal fees, shipping and handling and kitting charge. International orders are responsible for all exchange rate charges and any import and/or VAT taxes, other fees. No insurance for loss or damage is included, but can be made available at extra charge.

The pricing is slightly less than Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 Discrete and IC Component Group Buys. Some of the IC prices have gone down and a couple went up but prices have remained relatively stable.

This kit does not include Solder Paste, I suggest building the kits using the Hot Air Reflow method described elsewhere in this website and I recommend purchasing a syringe of solder paste.
